Most routines don't fail because they're too hard. They fail because they're easy to forget. The good news is that a small daily habit, like a two-minute scalp-care ritual, is much easier to keep once you give it a home in your day.
1. Attach it to something you already do
The most reliable way to build a new habit is to pin it to an old one. "After I brush my teeth at night, I'll do my scalp ritual." The existing habit becomes your reminder, so you don't have to rely on memory.
2. Keep it where you'll see it
Out of sight really is out of mind. Keep your bottle next to your toothbrush, on your nightstand, or wherever your anchor habit happens.
3. Make it small enough to never skip
Two minutes is short on purpose. On a busy day, a shorter version still counts. Showing up consistently matters more than doing it perfectly.
4. Make it feel like yours
A ritual is different from a chore because of how it feels. Put on a song you love, dim the lights, or take a few slow breaths while you massage. If you enjoy the moment, you'll come back to it.
5. Don't break the chain twice
Missing a day is normal. The trick is not to miss two in a row. If yesterday slipped, just pick it up again today.
6. Be patient, and be realistic
Everyone's hair and scalp are different, and results from any cosmetic product vary. Try to think of your ritual as a daily act of care, rather than a countdown to a particular result.
